Specification Sales Manager
DELABIESpecification Sales Manager responsible for driving sales growth of commercial washroom solutions in the UK. Engaging with stakeholders and converting opportunities into long-term relationships.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive regional sales performance in line with company targets and growth objectives
- Secure product specifications with architects, consultants, and designers
- Influence decision-makers and challenge traditional product choices to shift specification behaviour
- Build and develop strong relationships with end users, contractors, merchants, and wholesalers
- Track and convert projects from early engagement through to completion
- Deliver engaging CPDs, presentations, and technical consultations
- Actively promote DELABIE-DVS as the go-to solution for commercial washrooms
- Maintain a strong and visible pipeline using CRM tools
- Monitor competitor activity and identify new business opportunities
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-impact specification events that inspire specifiers, showcase solutions, and influence product selection in favour of DELABIE-DVS
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven track record in specification sales is an advantage
- Strong understanding of the project lifecycle and route to market
- Ability to influence and win business across complex sales cycles
- Commercially driven with strong negotiation and closing skills
- Excellent presentation and communication abilities
- Highly organised with effective territory management skills
- Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools
- Must live on the patch of postcodes
- Highly motivated with a strong drive to win and succeed
- Confident, credible, and professional in all customer interactions
- Resilient and competitive with a proactive mindset
- Strong relationship builder with a consultative sales approach
