About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create content about projects, events and association topics for LinkedIn and other digital channels
  • Plan editorial calendar, maintain the content schedule and manage publishing
  • Maintain and update the website and publish website content
  • Provide communications support for roundtables, events and webinars
  • Create simple graphics and image, graphic and presentation materials
  • Handle community management and communication with interested parties
  • Monitor reach and metrics
  • Continuously and professionally manage communication channels
  • Provide relevant content for target audiences
  • Contribute to increasing DEHIB's awareness and reach, recruiting new volunteers and raising visibility of projects, events and partners
  • Collaborate with the Communications team, specialist departments, board and volunteers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Interest in social media, marketing and communications
  • Some practical experience in content creation, social media or marketing is desirable
  • Confident use of LinkedIn is desirable but not required
  • Knowledge of Canva, Microsoft 365 and WordPress is desirable but not required
  • Sensitivity to target audiences, trends and digital communication
  • Good written communication skills in German and English
  • Time commitment of approximately 4 to 6 hours per week
  • Preferably timely availability for current posts and community inquiries
