About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and take responsibility for the strategic financial and capital architecture of DEHIB within the framework of long-term growth objectives
Build, evaluate and further develop business plans, financial models and scenarios for existing and new initiatives
Develop a sustainable investment and capital strategy (equity, debt, grants, co‑investments)
Prepare for and support discussions with investors, funding partners and financing partners
Advise the federal board on capital allocation, growth decisions and financial risk assessments
Establish governance structures for holdings, subsidiaries and affiliated entities
Ensure a clear financial separation between charitable (nonprofit) and commercial activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of experience in a senior finance role, e.g., as CFO, Finance Director, Head of Finance or in comparable responsibility
Strong expertise in strategic financial planning, liquidity management and multi‑year planning
Experience in one or more of the following areas: corporate finance, holdings/portfolio management, investment, venture finance or M&A
Competence in developing and evaluating business plans and investment models
Experience engaging with executive management, boards, investors or decision‑making bodies
Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial outlook and an interest in achieving social impact
