About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You are responsible for the entire end-to-end recruiting process, from requirements analysis with the specialist departments to the successful placement and handover of the role.
You create and publish targeted job postings on relevant platforms (e.g., JOIN, LinkedIn) and continuously optimize them to attract suitable volunteers for DEHIB and strengthen our organization sustainably.
You coordinate and conduct phone and in-person interviews and support the departments in conducting interviews.
You maintain and further develop our ATS (JOIN) and ensure a clean candidate pipeline.
You actively contribute to building our employer branding as an attractive volunteer organization.
You contribute to the ongoing development of our recruiting strategy and bring your own ideas.
You support the onboarding of new volunteers and ensure a warm, structured introduction.
You help develop HR processes and templates (communication templates, guidelines, checklists).

Requirements

What you’ll need

Initial experience in recruiting — whether through university studies, internships, part-time jobs or professional work.
Familiarity with modern recruiting methods (ATS systems, structured interviews, active sourcing).
Structured, proactive working style — you enjoy designing processes, not just managing them.
Clear, empathetic communication — with candidates and internally.
Identification with DEHIB's social mission and a genuine interest in impactful work.
Very good German skills (C1/C2); English skills are an advantage.
