About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You are responsible for the entire end-to-end recruiting process, from requirements analysis with the specialist departments to the successful placement and handover of the role.
  • You create and publish targeted job postings on relevant platforms (e.g., JOIN, LinkedIn) and continuously optimize them to attract suitable volunteers for DEHIB and strengthen our organization sustainably.
  • You coordinate and conduct phone and in-person interviews and support the departments in conducting interviews.
  • You maintain and further develop our ATS (JOIN) and ensure a clean candidate pipeline.
  • You actively contribute to building our employer branding as an attractive volunteer organization.
  • You contribute to the ongoing development of our recruiting strategy and bring your own ideas.
  • You support the onboarding of new volunteers and ensure a warm, structured introduction.
  • You help develop HR processes and templates (communication templates, guidelines, checklists).

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Initial experience in recruiting — whether through university studies, internships, part-time jobs or professional work.
  • Familiarity with modern recruiting methods (ATS systems, structured interviews, active sourcing).
  • Structured, proactive working style — you enjoy designing processes, not just managing them.
  • Clear, empathetic communication — with candidates and internally.
  • Identification with DEHIB's social mission and a genuine interest in impactful work.
  • Very good German skills (C1/C2); English skills are an advantage.
