About the role

  • Development and responsibility for DEHIB's strategic financial and capital architecture in line with long-term growth objectives
  • Creation, evaluation and continuous improvement of business plans, financial models and scenarios for existing and new initiatives
  • Development of a sustainable investment and capital strategy (equity, debt, grants, co-investments)
  • Preparation for and support of discussions with investors, grant partners and financing partners
  • Advising the national board on capital allocation, growth decisions and financial risk trade-offs
  • Establishment of governance structures for holdings, subsidiaries and affiliated entities
  • Ensuring a clear financial separation between nonprofit and commercial activities

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in a senior finance role, e.g. as CFO, Finance Director, Head of Finance or in comparable responsibility
  • Solid knowledge of strategic financial planning, liquidity management and multi-year planning
  • Experience in one or more areas: corporate finance, portfolio management, investment, venture finance or M&A
  • Proficiency in developing and assessing business plans and investment models
  • Experience interacting with executive management, boards, investors or decision-making bodies
  • Strategic thinking, an entrepreneurial mindset and an interest in societal impact
