About the role

  • Further develop and maintain the visual identity of Deutscher Hilfsbund
  • Ensure consistent design quality across all channels
  • Develop and maintain design templates for presentations, pitches, campaigns, reports and digital formats
  • Quality-assure all visual materials prior to publication
  • Work closely with Communications and Campaigns to visually implement strategic content
  • Establish a simple, clearly structured design workflow for a small team
  • Prospectively build and lead a design team of 2–3 people
  • Contribute to the development of a structured brand guidelines document
  • Support the development of a consistent employer brand in coordination with HR

Requirements

  • Experience in brand design, graphic design or visual communication
  • Creative yet strategic understanding of brand management
  • Confident user of Canva; other design tools are an advantage
  • Ability to build design systems systematically and not only execute operational tasks
  • Structured working style and strong quality awareness
  • Self-initiative and long-term commitment
