About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and exceed new-logo sales targets within the assigned Northeast territory
- Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing
- Partner with Solutions Directors, Principal Consultants, internal teams, the assigned SDR, Channel Sales, and partners to create value propositions and account campaigns
- Monitor industry trends and new technologies and contribute insights to product strategy and roadmap
- Position and communicate Deepwatch’s managed cybersecurity solutions to CISOs, VPs, Senior Directors, prospects, and customers
- Build a 5x pipeline, targeting $1M per month after 90 days
- Develop strategic account plans and ensure alignment with the extended team
- Prioritize work and provide accurate forecasts in Salesforce CRM
- Remain current with information security news, techniques, and trends
- Travel within the assigned region to visit prospective customers and partners, often with short notice
- Operationalize a diverse book of business
- In the first 30 days, meet internal selling resources and regional channel partners and define a target account list
- In the first 60 days, build a target account strategy and prospect all target accounts
- In the first 90 days, demonstrate progress toward building a 5x pipeline
Requirements
What you’ll need- Prior experience achieving quotas at early-stage, high-growth software/SaaS or cybersecurity companies
- Ability to learn new technologies and contribute to company strategy and product roadmap
- Experience using a proven sales methodology such as MEDPICC
- Ability to sell business value, solve business problems, and deliver customer outcomes
- Ability to engage internal and external resources during sales cycles
- Ability to build a 5x pipeline, reaching $1M per month after 90 days
- Ability to develop targeted, strategic account plans
- Ability to prioritize work and provide accurate Salesforce CRM forecasts
- Current knowledge of information security news, techniques, and trends
- Ability to travel within the assigned Northeast region, often with short notice
- Must be a U.S. Person under ITAR: U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee admitted to the United States, or person granted asylum by the U.S. government
- Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States upon hire
- Must pass a pre-employment background check
- Ability to work remotely from a home office when not at a corporate office
