SOC Team Lead

DevOps Engineer

• Lead and grow the SRE team, setting direction, mentoring and managing engineers, and fostering excellence.
• Design and manage cloud and containerized infrastructure with IaC (Terraform).
• Implement robust CI/CD pipelines integrating security and compliance.
• Build scalable observability systems, leading the definition of SLIs / SLOs and dashboards.
• Manage incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortems; automate recovery via playbooks/runbooks.
• Drive capacity planning, performance tuning, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with InfoSec, DevSecOps, and Compliance teams—ensuring alignment with frameworks like FedRAMP, NIST, RMF.
• Support program-level initiatives, communicating effectively with stakeholders.
• Promote a culture of reliability, security, and developer efficiency.
• Maintain an active 'player' role, dedicating approximately 75% of your time to hands-on engineering (design, coding, and architecture) and 25% to leadership, mentorship, and management.

• Shape and execute a long-term channel and alliance strategy with partners to significantly expand customer engagements, drive market differentiation, and enhance business alignment for scalable growth.
• Cultivate, deepen, and leverage executive relationships with strategic alliance partners to elevate Deepwatch’s market position and mindshare as a trusted go-to MSS partner, influencing decision-making at the highest levels.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and foster collaboration across sales, marketing, technical, and product teams, ensuring effective go-to-market (GTM) alignment to maximize joint customer and revenue opportunities.
• Engage deeply with emerging trends, technology shifts, and partner ecosystem changes to anticipate market dynamics, ensuring that Deepwatch’s partnerships remain aligned with both company goals and the evolving needs of the cybersecurity landscape.
• Own and optimize the performance of joint business plans with channel and alliance partners, translating high-level strategy into actionable steps and measurable outcomes that support annual objectives and ongoing engagement.
• Drive consistent and predictable revenue bookings and new customer engagements through joint business planning and effective GTM teaming.
• Represent Deepwatch in executive briefings, C-level presentations, industry events, and security conferences as a thought leader and technical expert, showcasing the value of Deepwatch’s solutions within the broader cybersecurity ecosystem.
• Provide comprehensive reporting on partner performance, market insights, and competitive positioning proactively recommending adjustments to strategies and tactics as market conditions or business objectives shift.
• Act as a strategic advisor to Deepwatch’s executive leadership, offering input into the company’s overall strategy, product roadmap, and market positioning to align with alliance capabilities and market demand.
• Lead, mentor, and develop sales professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and career growth.

Director, Channel Sales – Alliances

• Provide first line support of production impacting issues before engaging additional resources
• Monitor, manage, and optimize SIEM platform performance, which includes but are not limited to:
• Splunk
• Google SecOps
• Microsoft Sentinel
• Securonix
• CrowdStrike NG SIEM
• Palo Alto XSIAM
• Maintain, manage, and troubleshoot log collection solutions running on Linux and Windows systems supporting data pipelines into SIEM platforms.
• Identify and remediate critical log ingest gaps to support continuous security monitoring
• Communicate with leadership and support roles (internal and external)
• Manage ticket request/incident statuses and provide timely follow up to internal and external customers
• Participate in projects/initiatives as needed
