About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Technical clarity for successful deals
- You are the technical backbone of our sales team
- Responsible for all technical questions regarding hardware, software, and service solutions in sales
- Technical customer consulting: comprehensively understand, analyze, validate, and classify potential customers' requirements
- Use-case mapping: understand customer needs and translate them into opportunities
- POC management: support selected national and international customers during proof-of-concept phases
- Central interface: close collaboration with Product Management, Operations, and C-level, providing targeted technical customer feedback
Requirements
What you’ll need- Several years of experience in sales engineering, pre-sales, or technical consulting, ideally in a tech, SaaS, or product-focused environment
- A technical background in infrastructure, engineering, or software is an advantage but not required
- You have strong technical understanding and the ability to quickly grasp, contextualize, and clearly communicate complex relationships
- You work in a structured, analytical, and independent way, take responsibility, and drive topics reliably to completion
- You understand sales processes and confidently support sales with technically demanding customer inquiries — consultatively, clearly, and pragmatically
- You communicate professionally and confidently with customers and internal stakeholders, including at decision-maker level
- Very good German (C2) and good English (B2+) as well as willingness to travel occasionally (e.g., customer meetings, trade shows, events)
