About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify, evaluate, and select vendors and negotiate contracts, ensuring competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Manage the full end to end procurement cycle from gathering requirements, identifying and appraising suppliers, negotiating contracts, and SRM activities, focussing on SaaS.
  • Partner with various teams such as IT, Security, Finance, and Legal to streamline the process and ensure contracts are fully compliant and aligned with business needs and best practices.
  • Support the evolution of procurement from an IT-only focus to a company-wide function.
  • Implement efficient procurement processes, including purchase requisition, order placement, and invoice reconciliation, leveraging technology tools and systems.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders on SaaS and other procurement matters.
  • Maintain clear and proactive communication on progress, risks, and outcomes.
  • Develop and execute strategies to consolidate the software toolsets in place.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience in an IT/SaaS Procurement role (buyer or above) or similar role, preferably within the IT or SaaS.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable terms.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices.
  • Experience collaborating with Finance, Legal, and IT stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to maintain transparency across multiple projects.
  • Ability to balance short-term needs (e.g., renewals) with long-term strategic improvements.
