Founding Partnerships Lead

DeepIP

Founding Partnerships Lead managing partnerships for AI-powered solutions in the IP sector. Overseeing strategy and design of commercial partnership structures with C-level counterparts.

Posted 5/25/2026full-timeBrooklyn • New York • 🇺🇸 United StatesSeniorWebsite

About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the full partnership strategy — tier prioritisation, resource allocation, and partnership-sourced ARR targets.
  • Define what a partnership needs to look like at each level to justify the investment.
  • Design and negotiate commercial partnership structures from scratch — revenue share, co-sell splits, integration fees — directly with C-level counterparts.
  • Build the operational backbone that keeps partnerships alive post-signing: QBR cadence, CRM tracking for partner-sourced deals, and an enablement playbook.
  • Map the IP value chain proactively — track emerging platforms and manage the promotion process from lightweight to active partnerships.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales on co-sell motions, Product on integration requirements, and Marketing on joint GTM and co-branded content.
  • Contribute 10% of net new pipeline through partnership-sourced or influenced ARR within 6 months.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in partnerships, alliances, or business development in a SaaS or tech environment, with a proven track record of generating measurable ARR through partnerships — not just signed logos.
  • Experience designing commercial partnership models from scratch and negotiating directly with CFO or CEO-level counterparts.
  • Demonstrated ability to build the operational backbone post-signing: QBR cadence, sourced-pipeline tracking, enablement library.
  • Strong ecosystem thinking — you've mapped a multi-player landscape, built a tiered prioritisation framework, and know when to say no.
  • Highly cross-functional: you've built co-sell motions that sales teams actually use and worked with Product to prioritise integration development.
  • IP-ready: prior experience or strong understanding of the Intellectual Property sector is a strong plus.
  • AI-native mindset — AI is your default operating mode, not an afterthought.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.

Benefits

Comp & perks
  • Enjoy opportunities for professional growth and development as we scale.
  • Be part of a mission-driven team transforming the IP industry with AI-powered solutions.
  • Work in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment where your voice matters.
