About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as the leading legal adviser to the CEO and leadership team
Lead and develop the legal function, mentoring a multidisciplinary team
Take ownership of the company's commercial legal work
Support complex commercial negotiations
Partner closely with teams across commercial, operations, product, finance, and technology
Drive improvements to legal operations
Champion the adoption of AI and legal technology

Requirements

What you’ll need

German-qualified lawyer (Volljurist) with around 10+ years' PQE in private practice and in-house
Strong commercial experience
Significant experience supporting sales, procurement, technology or strategic partnerships
Proven track record in logistics, transportation or mobility sector
Previous experience leading or mentoring legal teams
Experience building legal processes and introducing legal operations improvements
Fluent in both German and English
