About the role
- Design and deploy advanced LLM-powered applications that support our Payroll product lines and operations.
- Lead architecture decisions, cost optimization, and observability efforts for mission-critical AI workflows.
- Collaborate with ML researchers, product managers, and application engineers.
- Create massive impact by doing ground breaking work in an already high-scale product.
Requirements
- 12+ years of engineering experience, with a strong focus on system design
- At least 1.5 years building production-grade LLM applications
- Python expertise for AI/ML development
- Node.js familiarity for integration with application teams
- Deep experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, etc.)
- Prompt engineering, LLM API integration, and system reliability patterns
- Observability tooling for AI systems
- Hands-on experience (2+ years) in implementing research and algorithms in Python, specifically in information retrieval, text processing, NLP, LLMs, and machine learning
