About the role
- Play a crucial role breaking into new accounts and fostering relationships with multiple contacts within target customer segments
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting including email, phone, and social media outreach
- Identify and qualify prospective clients by understanding their needs and challenges
- Schedule product demonstrations for qualified prospects with Account Executives
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to improve lead generation strategies
- Consistently achieve monthly and quarterly targets for qualified meetings and pipeline generation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM system
- Conduct market research to identify new potential customers and leads
- Qualify leads by learning about their approach to onboarding
- Participate in regular sales training and professional development opportunities
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in a sales development or similar outbound commercial role
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and remote team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and eager to learn
- Ability to work autonomously and self source solutions
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets in a quota-carrying role
- Experience with CRM systems and sales engagement tools (preferred)
- Entrepreneurial spirit and strong growth mindset (preferred)
- Ability to write email copy and sequence campaigns that convert
- Adaptable and comfortable with a fast-paced environment
- Active relationship builder able to collaborate with internal and external teams
- Experience in HR or Fintech (preferred)
- Experience at a fast-growing startup (preferred)
- Previous experience working in a remote & distributed team (preferred)
- Native/fluent in English + Dutch
