About the role

  • As a developer in the Calculations team, the primary focus is the design, maintenance and development of the various backend calculation services pertaining to legislative compliance, payroll, and HR, with a strong focus on performance optimization, throughput, and accuracy.
  • This involves general coding, innovative design and unit testing of the various elements that make up the PaySpace calculation services.
  • Additionally, as a senior developer, you will bring your exceptionally strong technical understanding of how systems are built to the table.
  • Be a part of a truly cross-functional team; Frontend, Back-End and Full-Stack Engineers, Product Teams, Designers and QA’s.
  • Participate in product planning (From discovery all the way to deployment); We want your input at all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle!
  • Collaborate! Our teams work together to develop robust new features, API’s, continuously improve our industry-leading products and find and fix any bugs at speed.
  • Ensure our customers receive a white-glove experience with our products!

Requirements

  • You have expert knowledge of the latest versions of C#/.NET, .NET Core
  • You’re an expert when it comes to applying SOLID Principles
  • You’re a database guru! You know the ins and outs of MS-SQL
  • You have a firm understanding of Azure DevOps (If you’re a fast learner, knowledge of something similar would be suitable, too!)
  • You create RESTful API’s with ease
  • You have worked with Dapper or a similar ORM
  • You have at least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer
