About the role

  • Build backend services that bring AI capabilities to life inside our Payroll workflows
  • Collaborate with ML engineers and operations to create real-world AI-powered tools

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in backend/full-stack engineering
  • JavaScript, Node.js and PostgreSQL experience
  • Strong API integration skills
  • Hands-on experience integrating AI APIs into production systems
  • Comfort working with unstructured/messy data and ETL pipelines
  • Bonus if you have: Python scripting experience for AI workflows, Familiarity with OpenAI, Gemini, or Anthropic APIs, Experience building chatbot or conversational interfaces, Prompt engineering fundamentals, Document/file parsing (CSV, PDF, Excel)
