About the role

Lead and oversee IT Security and Security Operations (SecOps) teams
Act as the system owner for Deel’s security platforms (ZTNA, SWG, enterprise browser, DLP, EDR, etc.)
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and oversee resolution across security tools and infrastructure
Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to remediate security risks
Ensure security systems are fully integrated, optimized, and aligned with enterprise security strategy
Define, implement, and continuously improve monitoring and alerting strategy
Manage communication and incident coordination with SIEM and SOC providers
Design and maintain security dashboards for visibility and metrics reporting
Act as Tier 3 escalation for security incidents and investigations
Develop and execute insider threat detection and response strategy
Define and implement SIEM correlation rules to detect emerging threats
Build, maintain, and continuously improve security playbooks to ensure rapid, consistent incident response

10+ years of experience in security
At least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing IT Security and/or SecOps
Strong technical expertise with enterprise security systems (ZTNA, SWG, DLP, EDR, SIEM, etc.)
Proven experience with SOC practices, digital forensics, and incident response
Deep knowledge of monitoring, detection, and insider threat strategies
Strong leadership, team-building, and mentoring skills
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in high-pressure environments
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to partner across technical and business stakeholders
Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, GIAC, etc.) strongly preferred
Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently
Authorization to work in the country of residence (work permit/visa questions in application form)
