About the role
- Maintain financial health by ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
- Assist with developing, documenting, and implementing accounting and finance policies and procedures
- Manage government reporting requirements, statutory financial statements and tax filings
- Support internal reports and reconciliations
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and work with external auditors
- Ensure the company operates within legal guidelines across all locations
Requirements
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably with audit experience
- Well-organized with ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to details
- Proficiency with systems and MS office
- Experience with Netsuite (advantage)
- Team player, strong communication and interpersonal skills
