About the role
- Maintain accurate financial reporting and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
- Assist with improving, developing, documenting, and implementing accounting and finance policies and procedures
- Manage and comply with government reporting requirements, statutory financial statements and tax filings
- Support internal reports and reconciliations
- Lead and participate in ad-hoc projects
- Work with external auditors
- Report to the Team Lead, Country Finance and contribute to ensuring company operates within legal guidelines across locations
Requirements
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably with audit experience
- Well-organized with ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to details
- Proficiency with systems and MS office
- Experience with Netsuite (advantage)
- Team player, strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Authorization to work in the country of residence (application asks for work authorization)
- Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently
