About the role

Build and maintain automation services that connect internal tools, third-party platforms, and messy data pipelines
Power intelligent workflow orchestration for our Payroll team
Work on automation and integration projects that improve payroll and HR platform operations
Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, and Payroll Engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions

8+ years of experience in software engineering with an integration/automation focus
Strong Node.js/JavaScript experience
API integration and data transformation skills
Experience working with automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Puppeteer, e2b, n8n)
Comfortable handling messy, unreliable data from multiple sources
Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently
React experience for building internal UIs (bonus)
RPA tools background (bonus)
Workflow orchestration familiarity (Zapier, n8n, etc.) (bonus)
Deep experience with file parsing and data extraction (PDFs, Excel, CSVs) (bonus)
