About the role
- Build and maintain automation services that connect internal tools, third-party platforms, and messy data pipelines
- Power intelligent workflow orchestration for the Payroll team
- Develop integrations and API-driven data transformation pipelines
- Handle unreliable and messy data from multiple sources and implement robust parsing
- Collaborate within R&D/Engineering/Payroll Engineering teams to deliver automation solutions
- Potentially contribute to internal UIs and tooling
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering with an integration/automation focus
- Strong Node.js/JavaScript experience
- API integration and data transformation skills
- Experience working with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Puppeteer, e2b, n8n)
- Comfortable handling messy, unreliable data from multiple sources
- Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently
- Authorization to work in your country of residence (applicants must provide work authorization information)
- Bonus: React experience for building internal UIs
- Bonus: RPA tools background
- Bonus: Workflow orchestration familiarity (Zapier, n8n, etc.)
- Bonus: Deep experience with file parsing and data extraction (PDFs, Excel, CSVs)
