About the role

  • Deel is the all-in-one payroll and HR platform for global teams, enabling payroll, HRIS, compliance, benefits, performance, and equipment management
  • Build and maintain automation services that connect internal tools, third-party platforms, and messy data pipelines
  • Power intelligent workflow orchestration for our Payroll team
  • Work on integrating with many currencies, countries, and unreliable external systems

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering with an integration/automation focus
  • Strong Node.js/JavaScript experience
  • API integration and data transformation skills
  • Experience working with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Puppeteer, e2b, n8n)
  • Comfortable handling messy, unreliable data from multiple sources
  • Bonus: React experience for building internal UIs
  • Bonus: RPA tools background
  • Bonus: Workflow orchestration familiarity (Zapier, n8n, etc.)
  • Bonus: Deep experience with file parsing and data extraction (PDFs, Excel, CSVs)
