About the role

Build and maintain automation services that connect internal tools, third-party platforms, and messy data pipelines
Power intelligent workflow orchestration for the Payroll team
Design and implement integrations and data transformation pipelines
Handle unreliable and messy data from multiple sources
Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, and Payroll Engineering teams to deliver automation solutions
Contribute to internal tooling and potentially internal UIs (React) as needed

8+ years of experience in software engineering with an integration/automation focus
Strong Node.js/JavaScript experience
API integration and data transformation skills
Experience working with automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Puppeteer, e2b, n8n)
Comfortable handling messy, unreliable data from multiple sources
Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently (application requires confirmation)
Experience with file parsing and data extraction (PDFs, Excel, CSVs) — bonus
React experience for building internal UIs — bonus
RPA tools background — bonus
Workflow orchestration familiarity (Zapier, n8n, etc.) — bonus
