About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Testing activities for ORBIS
Development of test strategies
Design of test scenarios and test configurations
Execution of tests (integration and system tests, regression tests)
Continuous improvement of testing and verification methods
Implementation and maintenance of automated tests
Test automation activities across all types of solutions and underlying technologies (desktop applications, web applications, mobile applications) in close collaboration with R&D teams and product management
Automated execution of tests as part of the CI/CD pipeline
Ongoing development of the test automation framework

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and/or professional experience
Solid knowledge in end-to-end testing and test automation
Strong programming skills in JavaScript or TypeScript or a comparable language
In-depth knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks (preferably TestComplete, Playwright, CI/CD and best practices)
Self-motivated, creative and proactive, able to succeed in a fast-paced, multi-platform environment
Experience with bug-tracking and status-reporting tools, depending on project requirements
Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and “Shift Left” is a major plus
Experience with hospital information systems (HIS) is an advantage
Experience designing and executing integration and system tests
Fluent German and English
