About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, implementation, and maintenance of automated test cases (unit, integration, and end-to-end tests)
Integration and maintenance of automated tests within our CI pipelines
Deployment, configuration, and administration of static code analysis tools
Evaluation of analysis results and derivation of concrete technical measures to improve quality
Preparation of technical test and quality reports (test coverage, defect rates, CI results)
Documentation of test plans, test cases, and QA processes
Close technical coordination with the development team on QA issues and defect hotspots
Active contribution to shaping our QA strategy within the software development process

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in (applied) computer science or vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) with professional experience
At least 5 years' experience in software testing in IT projects and in creating and maintaining automated tests
Experience with continuous integration systems, ideally GitHub Actions
Experience with test tools and test suites
Solid fundamental understanding of software testing according to ISTQB
Careful, conscientious, team-oriented and independent working style
Very good German language skills (written and spoken) and good English skills
