About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • As an EHR Solutions Architect you will be part of our high performing ANZ architecture practice, utilising your skills in the architecture, design, and enhancement of our market leading Electronic Health Record (EHR) solution designed specifically for hospital and healthcare environments.
  • You will lead the digital transformation agenda and solutioning activity for our largest and most complex deals to deliver a step change in performance across patient experience, operational efficiency and clinical effectiveness.
  • You will be perceived as a thought leader in your field and play a crucial role in ensuring that different software components work together securely, efficiently and effectively to achieve business objectives particularly in a Managed Services setting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, other solution architects, and business stakeholders.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure solution architectures meet realistic, deliverable and supportable objectives, within funding and delivery constraints.
  • Work with business, sales, product, and technical engineering stakeholders to influence and specify solutions ranging from customer project engagements to product enhancement and portfolio capability uplift.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Tertiary qualifications in computer science, information and systems management, or a business discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
  • 15+ years’ experience in the Software industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a healthcare setting.
  • 7+ years in a solution architect role, applying a range of different architecture skills.
  • 5+ years of experience with Cloud Solutions (preferably AWS and Azure) in a Managed Services setting.
  • 3+ years Integration Architecture and Data Architecture experience in a healthcare setting including HL7 and FHIR experience.
  • Proven Integration experience between enterprise applications (e.g. APIs, ESB, etc).
  • Experience with formal architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and modelling languages (e.g., UML, ArchiMate).
  • Ability to lead architecture workshops and work with stakeholders of all levels including customer engagement.
  • Healthcare and life sciences industry domain knowledge, primarily in tertiary care sector.
  • Excellent creative thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective outcomes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders within Dedalus and our customers.
  • Strong time-management and organisational skills to balance and prioritise workload.
