About the role
- Designing, implementing and maintaining automated test cases (unit, integration and end-to-end tests)
- Integrating and maintaining automated tests within our CI pipelines
- Deploying, configuring and administering static code analysis tools
- Evaluating analysis results and deriving concrete technical measures to improve quality
- Preparing technical test and quality reports (test coverage, defect rates, CI results)
- Documenting test concepts, test cases and QA processes
- Close technical coordination with the development team on QA issues and defect hotspots
- Actively shaping our QA strategy within the software development process
Requirements
- Degree in (applied) computer science or vocational training as an IT specialist with professional experience
- At least 5 years' experience in software testing in IT projects and in creating and maintaining automated tests
- Experience with continuous integration systems, ideally GitHub Actions
- Experience working with test tools/test suites
- Solid foundational understanding of software testing according to ISTQB
- Careful, conscientious, team-oriented and independent working style
- Very good German language skills (spoken and written) and good English skills
