About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute financial plans at channel, class, and style level to maximize sales and profitability
- Build weekly category sales and inventory plans that align with brand and channel goals
- Analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities
- Create and oversee bottom-up style-color level sales and buy plans, ensuring alignment with top-down guidance
- Partner with Merchants and Planning Operations to secure product by market and influence sizing
- Present class and style level plans in DTC Investment Review for Teva
- Build regular price and markdown plans based on flow calendar and product strategies
- Collaborate with Wholesale and Supply Planning through buy review conversations
- Lead in-season Open-to-Buy reforecasting, ensuring optimal inventory position and responding to trends
- Quantify and communicate supply disruptions, pivoting strategies to achieve goals
- Share inventory positions and recommendations with ecommerce, marketing, and allocation teams
- Create and share financial results and reporting, presenting findings and action points in meetings
- Embrace continuous improvement and develop strategies to optimize business goals
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree or related work experience
- 4+ years of merchandise planning, inventory management, buying, or finance in a retail environment
- Forecasting experience required
- Strong statistical analysis and communication skills
- Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and responsible approach
- Curious, flexible, action-oriented, and forward-looking problem solver
- Advanced Excel skills; systems savvy, familiarity with Oracle and Tableau preferred
- Able to develop and maintain strong working relationships with peers and cross-functional teams
- Strong knowledge of merchandise planning and retail math, with ability to mentor junior team members
