About the role
- Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scenarios
- Perform functional, integration, and regression testing
- Validate system behavior against requirements
- Track defects using Jira
- Test Angular web applications and Java/Spring Boot APIs
- Perform API testing (Postman or similar)
- Validate data accuracy and outputs
- Work with developers to resolve defects
- Support UAT and stakeholder validation
- Assist with release validation
- Support testing within CI/CD pipelines
- Validate builds during deployments
- Improve testing processes
Requirements
- Active Secret Clearance
- IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE)
- 3+ years software testing experience
- Experience executing test plans independently
- Experience with Jira
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Preferred DoD experience
- Angular/Java familiarity
- API testing (Postman)
- SQL/data validation
- CI/CD exposure
- DISA STIG familiarity
