About the role
- Develop and maintain features for a Java / React Native mobile application
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Collaborate with software engineers and project stakeholders on application development tasks
- Participate in code reviews and development discussions
- Assist with testing, debugging, and improving application performance
- Gain exposure to DevSecOps workflows including Linux environments and GitLab CI pipelines
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Software Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or related degree program
- Junior or Senior standing (actively taking upper-level major coursework)
- Basic experience with software development concepts and programming
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Java
- Experience with React Native
- Familiarity with mobile application development
- Exposure to Git or version control systems
- Basic familiarity with Linux environments or CI/CD concepts
