About the role
- Support the administration, maintenance, and operation of SharePoint Server environments.
- Configure, manage, and maintain SharePoint Server (2016/2019) environments.
- Administer web applications, site collections, content databases, and service applications.
- Manage user permissions, Active Directory group integration, and SharePoint security policies.
- Implement and maintain governance policies, backup and recovery plans, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Monitor system performance, reviewing logs, and responding to alerts or issues affecting SharePoint availability or performance.
- Investigate and resolve SharePoint errors, performance issues, and service disruptions.
- Provide Tier II/III support to end users and site owners for SharePoint-related issues.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret clearance required.
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering) with a minimum of seven (7) years of experience administering SharePoint Server, including at least three (3) years of specialized experience managing, configuring, and supporting SharePoint On-Premises environments.
- Or Level II Certification (Security+ or better) with seven (7) years of relevant experience as described above.
- Desired Certifications: Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administrator, CompTIA Security+.
