About the role
- Research, design and implementation of existing and new EVM products
- Contribute to Solidity development for Magic Eden’s NFT marketplace
- Contribute to blockchain indexing systems with a focus on high performance and throughput
- Work closely with company’s founders, designers, engineers and security auditors to ensure the systems are of high quality and delivered to the market in a timely manner.
Requirements
- 6 years experience, at least 2 of those years with Ethereum and EVM-based blockchains, smart-contract development with Solidity, Foundry, Web3.js / Ethers.js frameworks JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with Ethereum Development Suites (e.g. Foundry, Truffle, Ganache, Hardhat, Tenderly)
- Experience in writing secure, efficient, and gas-optimized smart contracts for decentralized applications (DApps) on the Ethereum blockchain and other EVM-compatible networks.
- Experienced with various technologies, self-motivated, a fast learner, and have a "get things done" mentality
- Familiarity with open-source contribution practices and a proven track record of contributing to open-source Solidity projects.
- Humble to embrace better ideas from others, eager to make things better, open to challenges and possibilities
