About the role
- Manual testing of desktop and web applications.
- Work with a distributed Agile development team to create high quality epics and stories.
- Analyze functional and non-functional use cases to define test activities.
- Design test cases, test scripts and test data that validate each use case.
- Define clean focussed test scenarios, cases and steps of consistent high quality.
- Use impact assessments to make effective use of time and resources.
- Plan and design test strategies.
- Ensure quality defect logging, analysis and investigation.
- Drive quality improvements through process, communication and collaboration.
- Produce high quality work within a defined SDLC and QMS.
- Interact with product & project management and R&D teams to understand the project and testing objectives.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field is essential.
- ISTQB certification.
- 5+ years work experience in a similar testing role is essential.
- Experience working with Windows & Linux OS.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Proficient with Python programming language, other languages a plus.
- Experience in defining and executing manual test scripts.
- Experience in running automation tests in selenium framework.
- Experience in API testing.
- Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management.
- Must be flexible, independent, adaptable and self-motivated.
