About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Anticipate the needs of internal customers through mastery of logistics operations, knowledge of the Brazilian Customs Regulations and correct fiscal classification of our products, aiming to maintain operational credibility with the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service, with a focus on ensuring availability of imported and exported products at the right time, at the best cost and in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Offer tailored solutions to each need, such as certifications, registrations and licenses, to ensure product compliance and mitigate customs risks and barriers to commercialization, working directly with our Compliance, Legal and Brands teams.
  • Manage and evaluate our suppliers through periodic operational meetings to ensure we operate with the best costs, lead times and quality, and present financial and logistics results that support decision-making.
  • Monitor and control CO2 emission levels of our transport partners and other sustainability indicators according to guidelines from our Global team.
  • Develop scopes for BIDs and negotiation strategies, together with the Indirect Purchasing department, for joint decision with the Manager (optional) on contracting a given service.
  • Conduct the QMR (Quality Management Review) periodically for each service provider together with the Manager (optional).
  • Ensure data quality across all necessary tools.
  • Track import orders to ensure production in the exporting country releases the cargo according to the shipping schedule.
  • Master cost calculations per product and per transport mode/Incoterm.
  • Ensure that the timing of each stage of the shipping schedule is correct, aligned with what was negotiated in the BID/contract and with the replenishment needs of the Purchasing Center.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Business Administration or related fields.
  • Experience in International Trade, Fiscal Classification and Regulatory matters, AEO (Authorized Economic Operator).
  • Knowledge of SAP, Softway - Import Sys and Broker Sys.
  • Advanced/Fluent English.
