About the role
- Assist in the execution of M&A transactions, including target identification, valuation, due diligence, and integration planning.
- Prepare detailed financial models, including valuation analyses (DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions) and accretion/dilution analysis.
- Support the due diligence process by coordinating internal and external teams (legal, accounting, operational) and managing data room activities.
- Draft and prepare presentations, memos, and reports for senior leadership and the Board of Directors regarding potential transactions and strategic rationale.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential acquisition targets that align with Dealfront’s strategic goals.
- Evaluate the strategic fit, financial performance, and potential synergies of target companies.
- Collaborate with the Finance team on post-acquisition integration planning and financial reporting.
- Assist the CFO with the investor reporting and budgeting.
- Maintain and update internal databases related to targets and market intelligence.
- Assist in special projects related to corporate finance, strategic planning, and investor relations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- 1–3 years of experience in a demanding analytical role, such as investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or transaction services.
- Exceptional financial modeling and valuation skills, with a proven ability to build complex, error-free models from scratch.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statement analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluency in English
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within the B2B SaaS or technology sector.
- Familiarity with the European market and cross-border transactions.
