About the role

  • Responsible for improving company performance through the design and development of effective learning solutions.
  • Partner and build relationships with stakeholders to identify knowledge and performance gaps.
  • Maintain working knowledge of assigned content and provide recommendations for training interventions.
  • Research content by conducting interviews, attending courses, running focus groups, reviewing surveys, reviewing existing materials, participating in meetings and searching reliable external sources.
  • Incorporates adult learning theory, motivational elements and learning best practices into the design and development of learning plans, prototypes, courses, and performance support for both instructor-led and computer-based learning.
  • Employs rapid instructional design techniques to develop learning in a fast paced environment.
  • Effectively leverage learning technologies and content development tools to design, develop and implement learning solutions.
  • Manage and publish content to an LMS and CMS.
  • Use elearning authoring tools to develop self-paced content.
  • Stay abreast of automotive and digital marketing current events, challenges and needs.
  • Review peer content and provide constructive feedback.
  • Act as a lifelong learner, providing ongoing investment in time in gaining knowledge in DealerOn offerings and how they impact our customers, automotive industry knowledge and learning and development best practices.
  • Administers surveys and assessments that measure improvement in productivity, retention, and effectiveness of training.
  • Leverage results to improve offerings and communicate learning effectiveness to leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5 - 7 years of related experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Advanced knowledge of elearning authoring tools such as Articulate or Captivate
  • Experience working with an LMS
  • Advanced knowledge of Adult Learning Theory, Instructional Design Methodologies and instructional techniques.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Proven track record of managing and delivering simultaneous projects
