About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor the physical and financial progress of projects
- Analyze budget, actuals, costs, expenses and financial commitments
- Perform budget vs. actual analyses and identify deviations
- Support monitoring and review of project budgets and forecasts
- Extract, organize, cross-check and validate financial information from different systems and databases
- Support the process of cleansing and regularizing financial data in TOTVS Protheus
- Investigate discrepancies and trace the origin of postings and financial information
- Perform reconciliations and validations between historical data, internal controls and ERP information
- Support correct classification and monitoring of CAPEX and OPEX
- Request information from responsible areas to clarify inconsistencies and missing data
- Track pending issues and ensure actions progress to completion
- Prepare controls and management reports for financial monitoring of projects
- Support managers in variance analysis and decision-making
- Identify opportunities to improve financial controls and project processes
- Integrate into the client's team, a leader in renewable energy projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Production Engineering or related fields
- Practical experience in project financial control
- Experience with budgeting, actuals, forecasting and variance analysis
- Knowledge of CAPEX and OPEX
- Experience in analysis, cross-checking and consolidation of financial data
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP and/or TOTVS Protheus)
- Advanced Excel
- Ability to interpret financial information and identify inconsistencies
- Preferred: experience in ERP implementation, migration, integration or data cleansing
- Preferred: experience in large-scale implementation projects
- Preferred: experience with reconciliation and traceability of financial data
- Preferred: experience in Controllership or Financial PMO
- Preferred: experience with industrial, infrastructure or energy projects
- Preferred: knowledge of BI tools and dashboards
