About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as the Scrum Master for the data team, facilitating all agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective).
Ensure adherence to agile practices, helping leadership and the technical team keep the backlog refined, prioritized and healthy.
Facilitate technical communication between the data engineering/architecture team and business areas, translating complex needs into value-driven deliveries.
Actively support the project strategy for migration, consolidation and unification of critical data on the platform.
Identify risks, technical and managerial bottlenecks, and map deviations in data modeling and integration.
Remove impediments that could impact the schedule for data loading, cleansing and data quality.
Report sprint status, delivery metrics (velocity, burndown) and project risks to executive leadership and the corporate PMO.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related fields.
Proven experience working as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager.
Strong technical background in Data, with hands-on experience in MDM (Master Data Management) solutions.
Hybrid profile: a professional who originated in the technical area (data architecture/engineering, migration) and transitioned to management/agility.
Practical experience in complex projects involving migration, consolidation, cleansing and integration of critical databases.
Knowledge of data modeling, data architecture and data governance.
Ability to act as a bridge between highly technical teams (Engineers/Architects) and business stakeholders.
Excellent leadership by influence, conflict facilitation skills and strong communication.
Agile certifications desirable (PSM, CSM, PMI-ACP).
Experience with backlog management tools (Jira or Azure DevOps) is desirable.
Familiarity with market MDM platforms (e.g., Informatica, IBM, SAP, Talend) is desirable.
Experience in the healthcare sector or complex operations is a plus.
