Handle end-to-end accounting and finance operations for India and USA entities, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end closings.
Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and ROC filings (India) and US GAAP, sales tax, federal/state regulations (USA).
Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and currency conversions.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with local and global standards.
Coordinate with external consultants, auditors, and tax advisors in both India and the US.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Ensure timely filing of returns, including TDS, GST, 26AS (India) and 1099, W-9, etc. (USA).
Support cash flow management, banking activities, and audit requirements.
Implement internal controls and recommend process improvements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA/CPA/CMA or equivalent qualification is a strong plus.
5+ years of relevant accounting experience, with exposure to both Indian and US accounting practices.
Solid knowledge of Indian GAAP, US GAAP, and compliance regulations.
Experience in the IT industry or with companies having international operations is preferred.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books, or SAP.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and handle cross-border collaboration across time zones.
