About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Proactively engage customers to ensure timely renewals and identify opportunities for expansion.
- Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers and become a business partner within customer organizations to understand their evolving needs and align our solutions to meet their goals.
- Drive key Customer Success metrics, including renewal retention rate, expansion dollars, and reducing churn, through effective relationship management and deal processing.
- Facilitate customer onboarding and engage customers post-onboarding through regular check-ins, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), etc.
- Provide ongoing support by working closely with the technical support team to address customer inquiries and resolve issues.
- Collect and analyze customer feedback to improve Customer Satisfaction Score, Net Promoter Score, product development, and enhance the overall customer experience.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of experience in a Customer Success or Account Management role with exposure to renewals or upselling, QBRs, and customer feedback.
- Strong background in building and nurturing customer relationships.
- Familiarity with sales processes, including negotiating, closing, and managing deals.
- A proactive approach to identifying customer needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Experience with CRM systems
- Bonus Skills: Experience working with database management systems (DBMS), database-related products, or developer-focused products
- Background in open-source technology sales or engagement.
- Experience with Hubspot is a plus
