About the role
- Collaborating closely with the marketing team to develop and strategize content initiatives aligned with business objectives.
- Regularly reporting on the performance of your content, providing valuable insights to optimize future strategies and demonstrate impact.
- Developing detailed outlines and writing compelling copy for various content formats, from concept to completion.
- Crafting engaging and impactful social media content across platforms like X and LinkedIn to build brand presence and connect with the audience.
- Monitoring trending content and tracking competitor activities; providing actionable insights to the sales team regarding relevant audience interests.
- Responding to requests from the sales team and providing them with valuable content and insights to support their efforts.
- Developing compelling copy for a range of marketing materials, including emails, brochures, one-pagers, and other assets as needed.
- Staying up-to-date on product usage trends, new versions, updates, and features to ensure copy accurately and effectively promotes offerings.
Requirements
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with a keen eye for detail and nuance.
- Proven experience working with U.S.-based B2B companies, understanding the nuances of this market.
- Demonstrable experience and a solid understanding of SQL and/or database concepts.
- 2-5 years of experience in a copywriting or content creation role within a B2B environment.
- A portfolio showcasing compelling marketing copy across various formats (e.g., website copy, social media, email campaigns, blog posts).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- A proactive and collaborative spirit, with the ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- A passion for continuous learning and staying up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends.
- Strong Plus: Experience creating video scripts and/or webinar content.
- Strong Plus: Familiarity and hands-on experience using DBeaver.
- Strong Plus: Experience working directly with SQL or database-focused companies.
- Nice-to-Haves: Familiarity with HubSpot or other CRM platforms.
- Nice-to-Haves: Experience working within a collaborative environment using tools like Jira, Slack, and G Suite.
