About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of professional billing claims for reimbursement
- Ensure billing compliance with CPT and ICD-10 coding guidelines
- Serve as a coding resource to providers and staff
- Work on a variety of work queues including Charge Review, Claim Edit, and Follow Up
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma/GED required
- At least 1 of the following required certifications: CCS, RHIA, RHIT, CPC, CCS-P
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in patient financial services or healthcare coding or billing required
