About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assisting the nurse in completion of patient care activities
- Demonstrating strong communication skills and accepting delegated tasks
- Measuring and recording vital signs, intake, and output
- Assisting patients with activities of daily living
- Providing safe transportation and environment for patients
- Supporting both clinical and clerical sides of the business
Requirements
What you’ll need- HSD/GED is required
- PCA training or PCA experience or actively enrolled in a health care related education program is required
- 1-2 years STNA experience in hospital setting is preferred
- CPR is preferred at hire, but must be obtained within 2 weeks of start date
