About the role

  • Conduct CBRN detection operations by coordinating with stakeholders, managing equipment, planning logistics, developing plans, teaching and training equipment protocols to stakeholders, reporting information as appropriate, notifying chain of command as appropriate, writing situational reports and after-action reports, and following up with the stakeholder in post-deployment communications.
  • Manage and maintain file system for regional documentation to include record keeping, following file standards and protocols, and maintaining both electronic and paper files.
  • Responsible for maintaining their equipment, tactics, techniques, and procedure standards by completing all training, including refresher training, in accordance with MDDP policies.
  • Supports fleet management by documenting, tracking, submitting, and filing all necessary fleet vehicle information in accordance with MDDP, CWMD, and DHS policies.
  • Reports will be submitted by the 7th of each month covering the entirety of the previous month.
  • Adheres to professional standards and codes of conduct set forth by MDDP, CWMD, and DHS including dress code, all forms of communication standards, social media regulations, and other policies as required.
  • Perform responsibilities of Level I TSS with federal oversight as needed.
  • Presents clear, concise, and accurate information on the Mobile Detection Deployment Program and its capabilities to a variety of stakeholders and group sizes.
  • Professionally conducts training on and answers questions on policies, procedures, protocols, and equipment of the program to a variety of stakeholders and group sizes.

Requirements

  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Be a CBRN subject matter expert
  • Have a Commercial Drivers License Class B (CDL B) or ability to obtain within 3 months following contract award
  • 5+ years CBRN experience in the operational planning and coordination of detection and preventative activities with 5 years hands-on equipment experience including use of primary and secondary screening devices spectroscopic devices, and chemical identification equipment utilizing FTIR and Raman technologies
  • Be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership qualities, public speaking and presentation skills, verbal and writing skills will be of an excellent aptitude when producing documents and providing presentations.
  • Possess National Incident Management System (NIMS) and Incident Command Structure (ICS) certifications and courses (minimum ICS 100 and 200)
  • Possess at least one basic radiation fundamental training program certification
  • Demonstrate excellent decision making and critical thinking skills
  • Able to operate in a high-paced environment with deadlines.
  • Ability to Travel 50 75% during the year
