About the role
- Conduct and support CBRN detection operations in conjunction with program stakeholders in post-deployment communications.
- Manage and maintain file system for regional documentation to include record keeping, following file standards and protocols, and maintaining both electronic and paper files.
- Responsible for maintaining their equipment, tactics, techniques, and procedure standards by completing all training, including refresher training, in accordance with MDDP policies.
- Supports fleet management by documenting, tracking, submitting, and filing all necessary fleet vehicle information in accordance with MDDP, CWMD, and DHS policies.
- Adheres to professional standards and codes of conduct set forth by MDDP, CWMD, and DHS including dress code, all forms of communication standards, social media regulations, and other policies as required.
- Presents clear, concise, and accurate information on the Mobile Detection Deployment Program and its capabilities to a variety of stakeholders and group sizes.
- Supports training on and answers questions on policies, procedures, protocols, and equipment of the program to a variety of stakeholders.
- Submit Travel Approvals within 48hrs after members receive an Operations Order (OPORD).
- Provides support for Situation Reports (SITREPs) and After Action Reports (AARs).
Requirements
- Secret Security Clearance
- CBRN subject matter expert
- Commercial Drivers License Class B (CDL B) or ability to obtain within 3 months following contract award
- 5+ years CBRN experience in participating and assisting with operational planning and supporting the coordination of detection and preventative activities with a minimum 5 years of hands-on equipment experience.
- Equipment experience shall include the use of primary and secondary screening devices and shall include spectroscopic devices, and chemical identification equipment utilizing FTIR and Raman technologies
- Be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Basic NIMS and ICS certifications (i.e. ICS 100 and ICS 200)
- At least one basic radiation fundamental training program certification
- Primary and secondary screening preventative certifications.
- Demonstrate excellent decision making and critical thinking skills
- 5 years of relevant experience in R/N detection training and supporting preventive R/N detection mission operations at special events or during steady state operations where R/N detection is regularly employed.
- Knowledgeable in using Personal Radiation Detectors (PRD) (Spectroscopic/Non-Spectroscopic) and Human Portable Radiation Detection Backpacks
- Able to perform minor maintenance/upkeep to include battery replacement or adjusting settings, as well as able to complete multi-step troubleshooting efforts that may require interactions with vendor.
