About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform payroll accounting and general ledger postings
- Conduct payroll and bank reconciliations
- Support payroll funding and settlement activities
- Investigate and resolve payroll accounting discrepancies
- Assist with month-end close activities
- Support Workday payroll testing and system updates
- Maintain compliance with payroll controls and audit requirements
- Partner with Payroll, Finance, HR, and Banking teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of payroll accounting or payroll operations experience
- Experience with Workday Payroll preferred
- Strong general ledger and reconciliation experience
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
- Experience with SAP, payroll systems, or banking reconciliations is a plus
- CPP certification preferred
