About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor compliance with Compliance Framework, including Policy & Procedures Review
  • Monitoring compliance with the firm’s, Market Abuse Regulation, MiFID II, MiFIR, Financial Crime and CPC obligations
  • Periodic reviews of the suitability of portfolios held by advisory and discretionary clients
  • Involvement in development of new tests and execution of monitoring program
  • Maintenance of records and continuous improvement of processes and procedures
  • Liaising with Central Bank and FCA as well as Takeover Panel, Euronext and LSE
  • Administrative compliance support as required
  • Assist management with designated compliance projects and assignments

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5 years plus experience in a regulated financial services environment
  • Certificate level qualifications an advantage, or commitment to work towards these
  • Degree or master’s in business, Finance, Economics or a related discipline
  • Experience in financial services industry preferable
  • A high level of initiative and enthusiasm, a problem solving attitude
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A team player
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines
  • Interest in keeping abreast of developments in area of responsibility and regulation generally
  • Proficient IT skills particularly MS Excel.
