About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze and translate clinical user needs into IT solutions aligned with clinical workflows, patient care, and population-level health outcomes
  • Translate clinical objectives into strategic goals for transforming patient care
  • Collaborate with clinical and business leaders and manage key stakeholder relationships
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of clinical objectives and translate them into IT solutions
  • Elicit requirements from clinical staff, executives, product teams, UX teammates, business SMEs, operations, and leadership
  • Manage solution requirements specifications, use cases, screen layouts, process flows, functional and non-functional requirements, and other design artifacts
  • Develop and manage collaborative relationships with key stakeholders
  • Work with clinical and business leaders to improve care delivery, documentation, care efficiency, patient outcomes, cost of care, and engagement
  • Liaise between clinical/business users and product, engineering, QA, and related IT teams
  • Serve as a clinical subject matter expert and consultant for the CMIO on projects, meetings, and groups
  • Review and provide feedback on training materials and product communications
  • Conduct train-the-trainer and demonstration sessions for clinical partners, trainers, helpdesk/support teams, and business partners

  • Ability to create and manage solution requirements specifications, use cases, screen layouts, process flows, and functional/non-functional requirements

  • Ability to collaborate with clinical and business leaders across care delivery, documentation, efficiency, outcomes, cost of care, and engagement initiatives
  • Ability to act as a liaison between clinical/business users and product, engineering, QA, and IT teams
