About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides direct oversight and analysis of facilities maintenance/property management for building operations of dialysis centers in an assigned geographic areas.
- Accountable for center improvements, repairs, and maintenance of about 700-750 locations with an approximate annual budget of $40M.
- Directs capital and operational expense projects which include interior and exterior construction renovations, smaller refresh projects, and repairs.
- Collaborates cross functionally with all Real Estate lanes and other departments to enable informed decisions about the portfolio.
- Oversees approximately 50 outsourced individuals and could oversee a direct report.
- Champions role consistency among peers and solutions creatively while adhering to Program and departmental standards and corporate compliance policies.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in related area, or equivalent required; Master of Business Administration (MBA) a plus
- Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience or equivalent in managing facilities maintenance/property management/ project management of construction projects with budgets over $30M/year required
- Minimum of seven (7) years demonstrated experience in one of these areas required: multi location facility management, property management, or construction
- Experience in facility management, operations and maintenance, clinical engineering, safety and security, planning, design, and construction and/or environmental management required
- Demonstrated experience managing maintenance programs for a multi-facility company required; experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Demonstrated experience managing construction projects strongly preferred
- Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in a supervisory position required
- Ability to perform within a matrix organization and ability to lead through ambiguity to deliver results are required.
- Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and project management software required.
