About the role
- Promote and ensure security by protecting system boundaries and securing sensitive data
- Implementation and administration of network security hardware and software
- Enforcing the network security policy and complying with external security audits
- Developing and managing security for IT functional areas (data, systems, network, web)
- Preparing status reports on security matters and developing risk analysis scenarios
- Providing expertise and assistance in IT projects regarding security issues.
Requirements
- Strong experience within a large enterprise environment in IT security
- Deep and wide expertise in the security space
- Knowledge of best practices and compliance requirements
- Ability to develop and publish Information Security policies, procedures, standards and guidelines
- Experience in tracking and monitoring IT security incidents through to remediation
- Technical solutions and new security tools development to mitigate vulnerabilities and automate tasks
- Administering and monitoring security profiles, reviewing violation reports, and updating security controls
- Direct support to business and IT staff for security related issues.
- Educating IT and the business about security policies and consulting on security issues.
