About the role
- Set the vision, deliver the results: Responsible for a new credit product, you’ll develop and champion a vision that spans from the next 3 months to 3 years - making crisp quarterly bets while also driving longer-term initiatives that unlock deeper daily engagement and profitable growth.
- Ship with speed and conviction: Lead product squads through discovery, delivery, and in-market optimization - ensuring fast execution without losing sight of long-term impact.
- Own the numbers: Take full accountability for product performance and translate metrics into clear narratives that guide adjacent product and marketing teams. Measure rigorously, surface insights in business reviews, and drive action when the data calls for it.
- Enable flawless execution: Act as the connective tissue across Engineering, Risk, Marketing, Finance, sponsor banks/networks, etc. — ensuring alignment on priorities, clarity on plans, and efficient execution toward business outcomes.
- Coach and amplify talent: Uplevel PMs, designers, and analysts by embedding Dave’s values of Transparency and Better Together into how teams operate and collaborate.
- Build a culture of evidence: Establish experimentation and analytics frameworks that turn millions of daily swipes into insights — enabling decisions that grow LTV and raise member NPS.
- Invent tomorrow’s products: Explore and validate new product opportunities, using learnings to inform a 3-month to 3-year product strategy that balances quick wins with bold bets - with the potential to expand scope and team as new products scale.

- Cross-functional leadership skills, with a history of aligning diverse stakeholders across product, engineering, operations, and external partners.
- Executive-ready communicator, able to simplify complex data and influence C-suite leaders, regulators, and network partners.
- Analytical hunter mindset with strong judgment - expert in SQL and data analysis (Python/R a plus), able to cut through noise in complex data to surface insights and drive decisive action.
- AI-driven curiosity - fluent in applying AI to real product work beyond the basics (e.g., idea generation, data analysis, workflow automation), with the instinct to make teams and leaders smarter through creative AI use cases.
