Procurement/Sales Support Specialist
DataVizionProcurement Specialist / Sales Support managing procurement workflows for DataVizion's client engagements in IT solutions. Collaborating with Engineering teams and Account Executives to meet client needs.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the end-to-end procurement workflow for equipment, software, licensing, and professional services
- Build and maintain working relationships with manufacturer representatives, distributors, and vendor partners to secure competitive pricing
- Submit and manage deal registrations across manufacturer partner portals
- Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors and manufacturer reps
- Proactively manage contract and licensing renewal queues to prevent service gaps
- Research product availability, supply chain conditions, and lead times
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrated procurement, sourcing, or purchasing experience in the IT channel
- Familiarity with manufacturer partner portals and deal registration processes (Aruba, Fortinet, HPE, Microsoft, Dell, or similar IT vendor ecosystems)
- Experience with quoting tools, CRM/PSA systems (ConnectWise, Autotask, Salesforce, or comparable), and distributor portals (TD SYNNEX, Ingram Micro, D&H, or similar)
- Working knowledge of contract and licensing renewal management
- Strong negotiation instincts and comfort advocating for pricing and terms with vendor partners
- Detail orientation that holds up under volume — deal reg numbers, special pricing approvals, and vendor quotes do not get lost in your workflow.
